Styrian scarlet runner bean soup with sausage slices

  • 1 can of Steirerkraft scarlet runner bean soup (400 g)
  • a couple of Frankfurter sausages
  • some oil for frying

Garnish

  • diced green pepper
  • fresh herbs

  • farmhouse bread or pumpkin seed rolls

Preparation

  1. Heat the Steirerkraft scarlet runner bean soup in a pan. Then slice the Frankfurters into 2 cm thick slices and cut a cross in them.
  2. Fry the sausage slices in hot fat then add to the hot scarlet runner bean soup. Serve the soup with diced pepper and fresh herbs.

Serving suggestion

Serve with bread baked in a wood-fired oven or pumpkin seed rolls.
