Fried prawns with pumpkin seed oil dip
Difficulty level: easy
Prawns
- 12 prawns
- salt, lime juice
- 1 egg white
- 1 TBSP cornflour
- 1 pinch of sugar and salt
- frying oil
Dip
- 1/8 l sour cream
- 1 pinch of curry powder, salt
- 2 TBSP of Steirerkraft Styrian pumpkin seed oil PGI
Preparation
serves 2 | cooks in 20 minutes
1. For the dip mix all the ingredients together.
2. For the prawns remove the prawns from their shells, leaving the tail intact. Wash and place on paper towels to absorb the water. Flavour with some lime juice and salt. To make the batter, mix all the ingredients together. Heat the oil for frying, dip the prawns in the batter and fry in hot oil.
Serve together with the pumpkin seed oil dip.
Tip
If you like fresh coriander, add some small leaves to the dip.
