Meet the first female Recipe Rocker: Angelika Edelsbrunner has learnt from the very best in the country. And now she is conjuring up some striking creations for ‘Nouv-oil Cuisine’.
At the age of just 24, Angelika Edelsbrunner – the new ‘Steirerkraft Recipe Rocker’ – has plenty of experience and even more creativity. She learnt her culinary craft at the Hotel Legenstein in Bairisch-Kölldorf. The graduate of the Bad Gleichenberg Vocational College perfected her skills at the Hotel Sacher in Vienna and at the Restaurant Hotel Obauer in Werfen, which has four Gault Millau toques. Since November 2015, she has been working as sous-chef at the Gasthaus Haberl in Walkersdorf where she aims to learn a great deal from Hans Peter Fink. Before this, she spent four years working as head chef at Josef Zotter’s ‘Öko-Essbar im Tiergarten’.
