At our Bierwirtshaus restaurant, beer also plays a role in our cuisine; we use it to refine our dishes and draw on the wide range of flavours in hops and malt.” Richard Herzog, chef at the Bierbotschaft, is the Steirerkraft recipe rocker for 2015. The 23-year old has already worked at the Casino Restaurant Velden (award-winning restaurant) and 4* Hotel Brennerspitz in Neustift/Tyrol. Now he is devising creative and innovative new interpretations of Styrian food.
